Hi do you know on laptops you have the option to restore the hard drive back to its manufacturer state by imaging the hard drive? Well I want to mirror my entire PC hard drive and operating system, I will buy a second hard drive to hold the image and software on it and able to self-boot (naturally).

The master C: drive is Vista x64 and is in RAID0.

I would prefer it if the imaging software has the appearence of a dos based program, and not a windows base (just to keep things simple and tidy).

The image will be on the second hdd also, and remember the program has to support RAID0 and image the entire hard drive including boot info. Does anyone know which program is best ?

    Thank you for your time.

sorry about the late reply, had no net access.

I think the hard drive cloning tools on Ultimate Boot CD - Overview are what you need but I've never used it myself.
