    Hello,

I am curious as to whether there is a motherboard out there that is compatible with both an Intel chip and an AMD one, and if there is, where might I find one?

Any help would be appreciated! Thanks :)

    Welcome to HWF :)

Unfortunately this is not possible, because Intel and AMD CPUs all use different sockets. So therefore you can only have an Intel or an AMD motherboard, but not both.

I was also wondering, is it possible to use the same motherboard with both an Intel Core2Duo and an Intel Pentium 4 chip?

    Thanks.

That depends on the support range of the motherboard. If it supports an Intel Core 2 Duo, it should also support the Pentium 4 (LGA 775 version), but it's best to refer to the manual of the motherboard.
