hi i have tweaked my computer everyway possible inorder for it to run faster using xp and vista tweaks. what i have been told also is that by slightly overlocking the processor or something like that i can still acheive slightly better results. as i have never done this please can you guide if at .thank you Tony
/giggles Take a hammer and beat the shit out of the printer. Then turn to the computer and in a firm voice. Explain to it that it has only one choice get faster or get what the printer just got.... works every time
You won't notice any difference when you're just slightly overclocking a CPU. When you're actually overclocking a CPU to gain more performance, you'll need a high-end CPU heatsink to cool it.
That's not entirely true. With a lot of the Core 2 Duo/Quad chips you should be able to get a decent overclock (500mhz-1ghz) with the stock cooler. It'll depend on the overall airflow within your case, and the exact chip, but it's very possible.
