I have a add on called geebb.dll, and I'm 99% sure its spyware, I tried everythin to get rid of it like all the basic stuff (spyware, virus scans etc.) but can't get rid of it. I won't open up IE7 when its enabled, I would have to go to internet options to disable it. It also enables automatically after restarts. Does anyone know how to get rid of/delete a add on; or is it better if I just do a repair/re-install of win. xp

Best way is to ditch the IE and install Opera/firefox. Also try running your AV in SafeMode. To go in safe mode, press and hold f8 key when you press the power button.

Agreed. I've personally filed IE 7 vulnerabilities which have been totally ignored by MS. You're better off with a browser that's not a piece of crap.

    1. Run in safe mode
    2. Run a scan in Adaware
    3. Restrict your user account
