What can I say... Whether it is naff or cool, in or out, clever or anguishly sad... I am hooked. I am a real radio fan and for years I have been moaning at the radio and the various stations - play something decent and for :swear: sake stop talking and all those adds. Now, flick on the laptop, open Pandora Internet Radio - Find New Music, Listen to Free Web Radio and presto.... My music, no adds, no talking and no :swear: DJ trying to be my :swear: freind.... UUUUhhhhhhhhh, at last....... I wish the creators are a bunch of good looking girls 'cause I just want to make love to them!!! :love2:
Pandorra really is worth checking out. The amount of new music ive bought due to hearing it on Pandorra is astonishing. Its good cause even little known about bands get in there so its good for the music industry as a whole
Hahaha Pandora is supposed to be only for US residents only. They ask u for a zip code in the registration page and it says it in the EULA too. saba and york, u are buccaneering PIRATES!!!!!
Yes that's right.... Oops... that was not my intention!!!! I did enter a bogus (which I have made up! I did not look for a proper number on google, I promise!) number but when it was accepted I thought, well hey, obviously not an issue.... Do you think I should cancle my account? On a serious note, it is not piracy, is it? I am not recording the music and download is not an option. It is a free service... so am I p***ing on the rules? What do you think? OOOOOOOOPS....... :O
I dont remember the registration bit but whenever i like what i hear it always directs me to amazon.co.uk so im thinking that it must be for uk users as well.
Nope, look at the faq, 5th question if u scroll down just a bit without clicking any of the links. * Haha, if I were you I wouldn't really give a damn. But technically, I would say yes, u're pissing on the rules -- but slightly. Like a little drizzle. Cuz it's not like it's their goal to prohibit anyone outside the US from listening, it's just that they haven't sorted all that legal stuff anywhere else yet. (haha I'm using "sorted" like a British person)
whoops!!! yeah have just checked it out and it does specify US residents only. weird thing is that i have contacted the 'music genome project' a few times in the past telling them about bands popular in the uk that they don't have listed, and i have recieved replies via my co.uk address.
Right so point taken and using Pandora outside the USA is supposedly not entirely legal.... So up yours Pandora, I found this site - Walla Radio I admit it is not perfect. It only works for me, using IE and the sound quality is only so so, but it is free! as in free speech and beer. I am obviously chuffed about the Israeli music but apart from that, the non-Israeli music offers some seriously good mixes. It is edited by Israel's finest radio DJ's and although this does not sound very promising, only visiting and listening will provide the final verdict... Enjoy if you do decide to pop in..... You never know, Israeli music might grow on you....
