hello I've made a booboo, have purchased a very expensife item on ebay, it was star trek whole 7 seasons (about 48dvds) but I didn't read the description correctly, he said
err, im confused, does he mean each individual dvd is pal AND ntsc, or does he mean some dvds are pal and the others are ntsc format. is it possible to have a single dvd that has both compatibility? - if so will it work on a stand alone region2 (pal) pc dvd-rw /rom drive

the item is: eBay.co.uk: Star Trek The Next Generation Seasons 1-7 boxset (item 150049441527 end time 28-Oct-06 20:21:30 BST)

thank you thank you thank you sorry im thick

If the DVD's are marked Region 0 (aka Region Free), they should work on your DVD player no problem.

The guy says Multi-region.....they will be region 0, which means they are region free ie they play on all dvd players.
Your PC will defiantly play ntsc (if it doesnt you will be able to make it play ntsc!) and like I said ive never come across a dvd player which wont play both ntsc and pal. Flick through the settings on your dvd player, there will surely be an option. If its not in the menus it will probably be a switch on the back..... ntsc--pal--auto.

    I wouldnt worry tbh.

Have you seen the guys other auction......
eBay.co.uk: Very Cheap DVDs ie The Simpsons, Star Trek, Sex & City (item 330029573849 end time 27-Sep-06 05:58:04 BST)
Star Trek is in the title... you never know he could be selling his source!
