i gotta problem...

    Okay i have a problem my motherboard isnt sending any output power. My mouse keyboard and my monier arent getting any power. I just got a new CPU and a new power supply so thouse arent the reasons. My computer boots up but doesnt get any power to my mouse keyboard and moniter. Is my motherboard fried??

    hmm, excuse me if i sound lame, but what port are your devices? (usb, ps2) etc

    -did you say your monitor isnt getting any power?- do you mean power as in DCvolts or its not getting any Display

    probably not, is your monitor on its own power cable or is it plugged into your PSU ?

    if it is connected to your PSU it could be just loose - unplug it and reconnect it
    if it is on it's own power cable - check the fuse - or try using a cable that you know works

    does it work ?

    okay. donkey its got its own powere cable. and it turns on but its not getting any screen. rthats what i was trying to say.. but my keyboard and mouse both arebt getting any power.


    and newbaws my mouse is a usb and my keyboard is a psu

    i think he's trying to say his pc isnt posting properly. i take it your DVD/CD rom drives eject and your PC turns on, but the screen remains blank and your keyboard NUM-key doesnt pop on?

    exactly.. BUT my cd-rom isnt opening.. it tries to but it doesnt

    is your HDD powering up ?
    are fan spinning as usual ?
    what make & model of your PSU ?

    disconnect everything none essential (for testing purposes) e.g. all CD & DVD drives, USB stuff, any spare HDD's attached

    have you changed anything lately ?

    @newpaws: i think his PSU may be under powered
