motherboard n grafic card compatibiality

    hey i dont really know much about hardware n all so can someone help me out?
    i have an intel d845wn motherboard. wat i do know is tat its preety much outdated as it can only support a maximum of 2.6 ghz processor. Wat i want to know is, will it b able to support the latest grafic cards such as ati x1950??
    currently i have a club 3d gforce 5200fx card with 1.7 ghz n 512 ram


    n also if it cant support the ati x1950 then which card will it probabbly b able to support?

    Your motherboard supports AGP video cards, so the X1950XTX is not an option as it's PCI Express. This is not compatible with a PCI slot, which your motherboard also has. Any AGP 8x card will work, since AGP 8x cards are backwards compatible with AGP 4x slots, which your motherboard has. A GeForce 7800GS and, soon, the Radeon X1950 Pro will come in AGP flavor. Just make sure you have a decent power supply to support the card.
