    Hardware Issue:

    It wasnt until your post about IRQs that I looked and realized that my SATA controller, videocard and usb controllers all shared a connection..the +5v :) when i got the new card, i figured the videocard was toast or on the wrong irq :P

    Got a steal deal on a new Fermi core 465 videocard at newegg, and had to replace the power supply to run it. afterwards I realized the issue was gone, so I hooked it up to a neighbors power supply tester and the 5v line according to that was toast (putting out about 3 volts under load)

    I Do not see any active IRQ collisions, All drivers are up to date. I don't even see where to change IRQ's in bios aside from my Parallel port and serial port both of which are disabled already. Device event viewer shows only errors I know about, that I'm not sure are related to this at hand...
