    Celeron D Doesn't OC over 3888Mhz

    Celeron D Doesn't OC over 3888Mhz

I could not disagree more, the i7 is a cpu. an socket 1366 motherboard is a motherboard supporting an i7 cpu.You are saying i7`s the name of a mobo. And i`m in no need of an dual core cpu atm. All i want is to oc my celeron d to 4ghz. Wich doesnt work so well.. thats why i posted this question.

    Is my HDD dying?

Very simple sollution.. If you have a install cd of Windows XP,Format your harddrive over again, don't forget to back up all your stuff. If you don't have any backup cd-s.. Just defragmentate your harddrive with Defraggler (Piriform Freeware) => http://www.piriform.com/defraggler/download...

I think you might have switched up some wires..Altough you can't do much wrong with that.. Try resetting the BIOS to default settings. Greets

    Celeron D Doesn't OC over 3888Mhz

Yeah..But you see overclockers overclocking 3.0Ghz I7's to over 8Ghz.. The only obstacle is temperature..Wich isn't an issue in my situation..So why can't it go over 3.88 ghz?
