what do you mean your computer boots for a splitsecond? do you mean your OS boots? or do you mean the POST or Power On Self Test where your BIOS checks your hardwares?

maybe a virus... i have encountered it in my pc... it attach itself to the autoOff registry entry... otherwise, maybe a harware breakdown causes it... check your hardware if it is still all in good condition or if it reaches its lifespan... update us if there are any developments in...

i hav a new MMC for nokia 6600. i formatted it already. i inserted it in a card reader to transfer MP3 songs. then it shows, "cannot copy (the song): the disk is write protected." i don't have password in my MMC. how can i remove the write protection? thanks..
