can anybody suggest a Bluetooth dongle for use with Kubuntu Dapper 6.06

as i wish to setup a blutooth connection between my PC and mobile / cell phone (Sagem my401V, unlocked from Vodafone)

i've tried using an irda connection - with no luck
with irda-utils, ircp and obexftp installed - no luck
tried reading manpages but that didn't help (it seems like i need to know the irda configuration for my phone)

i presume bluetooth is easier to use[ot]or is there a GUI package somewhere (for either bluetooth or irda[/ot]

    Edit: ANY help, pwease

You'll probably have far more luck with Bluetooth. I think most Bluetooth dongles are compatible but it's best checking with the manufacturer's website first. Failing that, just type in Google the manufacturer and Linux and see what pops up.

KDE has a few Bluetooth apps although I haven't used them before. 'kdebluetooth' springs to mind
