Connecting VCR to pc??

    Hi im just wondering if its possible to connect a VCR/DVD combo to my computer? if so would it be expensive

    yes it is possible, why, what do you want to do it ?
    • to watch DVD's / video's on PC
    • movie output on you TV from files that originate on your PC
    or do you want to do something else ?

    I want to use my m0onitor sort of like a tv , just for viewing

    so you want to take the output from the DVD / Video and have it displayed on your moniter, yes ?

    if that is the case, it depend on your DVD, Video, grafx card and sound card

    but the easiest way to do it is: just throw a TV card at your system, like one of these[ot]just don't throw it too hard, cos you may break something[/ot]

    i want to buy graphic card for AGP slat with 256 MB memory and i want to captur with it
    for example connecting vcr to computer and changing video tape to vcd
    what card is suitable for me?
