The title is a case but my question is about cooling...
I am currently using the Thermaltake Kandalf LCS to cool my system and my ASUS Crosshair AM2 board has three on board wire thermal sensors.
I need advice on where and how to place these on the cooling system circut to accurately monitor the cooling. Right now I have the sensors strapped with zip ties on the tube leading from the processor, leading to the processer and the other one is just sitting there monitoring the case ambient temperature I guess...
It would be far more interesing if there was a safe way to get the sensor inside but probably not the safest!

I just finished playing the Godfather and my CPU is 26C the tube leading from the CPU is 28C and the tube leading to the CPU is 24C.

If you're monitoring the CPU, you'll need to have it on the side of the IHS (Integrated Heat Spreader). This is typically done with some thermal epoxy, like Arctic Silver Epoxy (it has to be the epoxy, or it won't stick). Taping it there would affect the heat transfer. It should be on the side, not between the waterblock or it will crush the sensor. For the GPU, it'll need to be beside the core, for the same reasoning as the CPU temp sensor.

and if I want to effectively monitor the coolant temperature, before and after the radiator?
