Ive got a Dell Lattitude C840 laptop and for some reason the wireless connection won't work. It see's networks fine and connects to them with its internal card and a PCMCIA one i tried, but the problem is it cant get an address from the DHCP. It goes through the motions but cant pick anything up and gives in. I used static IP adressing with the same DNS and Gateways as the machines on the network and it doesnt see anything on the network or get the internet? However it works via ethernet cable and gets an address. Any Ideas?

    Ive already tried:
Uninstalling and re-installing the TCP/IP protocols

Uninstalling and re-installing the Wireless devices

    Restarting the DHCP client
