I might be wrong, but surely a socket AM2 motherboard wouldn't be compatible with a socket 939 processor?

Asus A8N32-SLI MSI K8N-SLI series Abit KN8 SLI/Ultra SLI Epox 9NPA Ultra/SLI series DFI LanParty NF4 Ultra-D/SLI-D/SLI-DR/Expert SLI-DR (for uber tweaking only) DFI Infinity NF4 Ultra/SLI Really, any Socket 939 motherboard sporting an nForce 4 Ultra or SLI/SLI32 chipset will be a good choice. I'd probably shy away from the DFI LanParty boards if he's not comfortable fiddling around in BIOS. They are amazing boards, don't get me wrong, but if your bro's a 'n00b', then I'm hesitant to recommend them.
