looking at your parts, i would think you have no budget!

for the mobo, i woud get the crosshair, although its not any better than the m2n 32 SLI, and for teh graphics, go for an 8800GTX if you can, and if you cant, jst get a 8800GTS

Get an Intel Core 2 Duo without a doubt.

Yeah, Core 2 Duo! With at least ddr2 667mhz.

Also I wouldnt bother spending extra cash getting a SATA150 raptor. A SATAII drive will be loads cheaper and probably perform quicker overall.

Ive never been one to buy top end ram, Crucial, Kingston etc have always done it for me. If its a machine for gaming 2gb in dual channel will be best, it will last you a while.

Are you from the UK? You have a uk flag and are looking at newegg.
Try ebuyer or overclockers.co.uk if you are from the uk.

I think you sound definately keep the raptor, 10000 rpm is going to make a massive difference dispite the extra noise. I'd go with either of the ASUS's as they're probably one of the most trusted brands. The SLI deluxe is pretty much an industry standard though you'll definately have to pay extra for it. DFI is another good choice but it's really designed for those that want every possible tweaking and overclocking option known to man so I'm not sure how into that you are. As far as the video card goes assuming you want the best bang for your buck I'd go with a nvidia 8800GTS, if that's a bit too much for you they're releasing a 320Mb version for about $300 in a little bit so that's a bit more reasonable.
As far as memory goes I think that Corsair and OCz pretty much are the way to go, you don't need anything crazy if you're not looking to overclock so just focus on the $150 range for 1GB.
