Spec for custom pc

    Hi to all,
    I am looking at having a pc built.What do you think of these specs ?
    These are the main items i would like advise on.
    Case Raidmax Sagitta Mid-Tower 420w
    CPU Intel Core Duo E6600 2.4Ghz 1066FSB 2X2Mb L2 Cache EM64T
    Intel LGA7775 CPU FAN & HEATSINK + EXTRA CASE FANS
    HDD 250Gb Sata -2 3/0Gb/s 8Mb cache 7200rpm
    Motherboard (Quad- dual supports) Asus P5LD2 SE I945 Chipset LGA775 FSB1066 DDR/667 Mainboard
    Memory 2GB PC6400 DDR2/800 Dual channel memory
    Network ONBOARD 10/100 NETWORK CARD
    Powersupply Thermaltake w00093 TR2-500watt ATX 12V
    Video Card NVIDIA GeFORCE 7950GT 512Mb 16x PCI Express
    I have upgraded before but i have not had a pc built.
    I would be grateful for any advise

    I bought that motherboard for someone not long ago and its a good'n.

    If your an overclocker it will be cheaper to buy the E6300 because it overclocks to 3ghz quite easily apparently. 2.4ghz shouldnt be any problem even with standard cooling, plus its an extra £100 in your pocket.

    That motherboard is great. I've always liked ASUS motherboards, and are therefor my preferred brand.

    man it would be perfect but i have an advice you see people know always go to GeFORCE 7950GT but i always prefer to buy GeFORCE 8600 ultra

    Maybe the budget doesn't allow for an 8800-Series card, also right now the 7950GT will be able to play pretty much anything well (if not everything) and seeing as the 8800-Series are DX10 and DX10 isn't used yet it'd be kind of a waste at the minute. Yes it'd be more powerful but might not be totally necessary.

    Oh and it's an 8800GTX (the GTS is the lower model) not an 8800Ultra..

    Wait, you said 8600 Ultra, there is no 8600 out at the minute, please get your information right before posting, you'll confuse people.

    if budget permit maybe 2 smaller hdd for raid-0 like 50 bucks more
