Looks good. If it's within budget, it wouldn't be a bad move to jump to a GeForce 8800, but even without that, you won't be hurting for gaming.
The problem with waiting is that there is always gonna be a better card just around the corner. Can't afford the jump to 8800. Still im sure i'll manage for a couple of years.
The 7950GT isn't a slouch either. I've got a slower 7900GS, and I can run stuff like FEAR at 1600x1200 and medium detail settings smoothly, so you shouldn't have any trouble.
but the new series have directx 10 and if you want to play crysis at every thing high you should buy the new series for better gaming
again, id spend stupid amounts of money on a graph card for them to bring out dx11 in 6 months. With the spec ive chosen it will run anything at this moment in time and i can always upgrade what ive got in the future. Besides, at this moment in time im never off WoW anyway.
DX10 won't be mainstream for a while yet, and you need Vista to play DX10 games (unless M$ release a version of DX10 for XP - I'm sure I read somewhere on here there was a version which was practically DX10 for XP - maybe that's just me though)
