xbox link party help

    I am thinkin of hosting a lil halo 2 party

    4 tv's
    2 pepole per tv
    4v4 TS


    i am thinking of using 4 wrt54gl as a hub ,

    il be using 4 xboxs

    will their be any lag?
    will their be problems with the router
    ill be using 4 staight throught cat 5

    can i use a 360 and link it in their ?

    Are We talking 360's.

    On the original xbox me and my mates used to play halo 2 on 8 tv's, 16 people, and use a hub with LAN crossover cables hooked up. There is no lag at all.

    It's a bloody good laugh. Hope you enjoy.

    you can use crossovercable with a hub ,neat , any experience with using a router as a switch for it ,do you know if i can link like 3 xbox's and 1 360

    Dunno about the whole linking thru a router or connecting a 360 to the set-up. I played back in the day when everyone only had the original xbox.

    i can configure it as a switch , but wanted to make sure it work does anyone have one or similar model and used it ?

    ehh , i am getting another copy of halo 2 anyway so ill test the router beacuse i got two orginal xbox's .and ill test the 360 too
