GT all the way. For the same price, you could get the X1950 Pro which is a little better than the GT.
GT kicks the x1600 back to where it came from - even the x1650 Pro, which is a x1600XT is being killed by the GT. That's all because the x16x uses a older architecture and it's high clocks don't give much. Even the GS would be a better choice (since you can OC it to the level of a GT, ie make ir a GST).
