Is your motherboard AGP or PCI-E, it would be insane to get an X850XT over an 8800GTS, the GTS is like 4+ times more powerfull than it.

The thermaltake PSU's should be fine, I will be using an Hiper Type-R 580W to power my AMD 3700+ and 8800GTS 640mb.

thanks, well I am very slowly going I also need some advice on which case to get because I am conserned with the 8800gts taking up a bit of space plus I am obsessed with keeping the system as cool as a Russian winter without a watercooler or expensive heatsinks so I would like some info on simple cheap things that make it sooo much more efficient,
not to mention I live in Australia freakin hot down here ! I dream of moving to Antarctica soon lol.:D :D :D :chk:

Haha, wouldent be very pleant living in Antarctica lol.

I am getting my 8800GTS on thuesday, apparently the cooler on it is silent and does a good job of keeping the card cool, I think at load the 8800GTS can get to like 80 degrees, but thats ok, yea the 8800GTS does take abit more space up than the usual graphics card, but the 8800GTX is even longer, the 8800GTS should fit nicely.

lol, well I have another question, what Powersupply do you think I should get I specifically want a Thermaltake (not the crappy combo's that come with a case) ofcourse. OH yeah I scored a free case aswell from a friend, he has lots of old cases.
    Well,
I mean I want the case to look decent but than again I think its stupid putting freakin lights and pictures on and all that stuff UNLESS you have the money. Well I mean I don't look at the case everytime I Frag someone on Far cry or any popular FPS.

Why would only people who have money put lights on there system? I got some lights in mine, and some lighting fans, and all together they were like £5 lol, my case was £29 but my older case was £46.
