    Hello,

I hope I have come to the right place here, I need some help/advice.
First, let me explain my setup.

I have BT Total Broadband that comes in to my D-Link DSL-2740B router.
From there, I have my main PC hardwired via ethernet cable to port 1 and my PS3 hardwired, again via ethernet to port 2. (I get 100% sig strength with the wireless signal, but figured that if i can then the hardwired
    is preferable [is this correct?]).

Anyway, that is not my main question. My main question is that I need to know how to get the PC to communicate with the PS3. Now I know that PC's will see my PS3 as an extra drive etc and that's fine. I need to be able to move files FROM the PS3 to my PC. I know I can get zip drives, pen sticks etc, but I'm sure there must be a way to do it without those, as technically I do have a LAN. Basically it is just my ignorance and I need to know how to do it.

    Thanks in advance

    :D

Unfortunately you can't just create a network between a game console and a pc. The console has to be modded for that (and that is illegal). But if I'm right, you could plug in a usb stick into the PS3, and even an SD card.
