How high can i push the voltage on a C2D 6300

is it basicaly until the temp reaches an un-acseptable temp, or as high as the mobo can suport, or as high as some magic number caused by the earth exlpoding and colapising into a infinite density black hole

    Thanx

I'm not sure of the safety threshold of the C2D chips, but you should be able to gently increase the voltage in small increments as long as your temperatures are low enough. However, be warned that if you increase it too much you may shorten the lifespan of the CPU.

The next step up in the increments provided in BIOS. From what I've been hearing a 50% OC is very common with these chips. They're absolute monsters in that respect.
