Not as far as I know. Is the RAM Cheap? Unbranded? You may need some new, I reccommend Corsair, OCZ, Kingston, they have a "Value" range of products, which are low in cost. They are decent as far as I know.

Sounds like replacement time to me...there's something with the hardware that's bad. Since it's hardware that doesn't operate with a driver, you're simply unable to fix it by software. If you can't return it to the store you purchased it from, you may be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.

ya tats a better idea to buy a branded ram.. unfortunately my ram is braded as "dynet" which is not a reputed company... and they only give 1yr warranty..so i cannot get it replaced.. and memtest shows clearly tat there r some faulty memory allocation.. my question is tat whether it is possible to repair the old ram.. ie, by removing the faulty chip on the ram ??

I'd replace the RAM even if MemTest displayed just one error. Several errors from Memtest represents a serious problem. You could lose data if you don't replace those sticks soon

I guess I should point out that if the RAM isn't getting proper voltage or tweaked too tight of timings would also render errors. However, if you haven't set that in the past and it's showing problems, the RAM should be replaced immediately...of course, if you'd rather enjoy random BSOD's that's your choice. ;)
