PSU test!!!

    Wen ever i try selling a PSU the ppl in the shop take a small conductor pin and insert in some wires of the PSU and test if its working... cna any one explain which all wires r involved for testing???

    They're shorting the two pins that complete the circuit to power the PSU on without having to plug the unit in. It's faster and, should the PSU be problematic, it won't take any of their inventory with it.

    They may also be using a multimeter to test the rails for decent voltage.

    which r those pins tat needs to be short?? any description abt colour coding?
