I recently installed Steam, when trying to execute Counter Strike Source or any of the other games, it told me that i needed the latest version of Direct X...I went to the Microsoft Website, downloaded it but when installing..it gets to the "October 2005 SDK Update"...but for some reason it doesn't download and i get the error that the installation cant continue. Ive tried downloading the October update separately from Microsoft, but when the installer extracts the files, it cant extract the Setup file...could someone please tell me if i have done something wrong .. and what i can do to get Counter Strike to work.. P.S - Sorry if i have posted in the wrong section.
