I have been trying to do a defrag on my laptop but I keep getting a flag saying

"The scan has been cancelled because an error occurred in file: c:\1386\AMAIZRUL.GI_"

Can anyone explain to me what this means and how I can fix it it? I'm not techy - seriously not! - and need plain penguin please!

The only thing i can think of and im really not sure if this will work or not is go to Start>Run> and run Chkdsk /r, and see what you get, also do you have sp2 installed, i know that should not make a difference but you never know, it might!

yep - sp2 is installed and I've done a chkdsk but what's the '/r' mean? Not seen that before.
