    do`s anyone know when you sign up to a internet service provider for broadband have you got a cooling off period when you can cancel if you are not satisified with the service thanks for any info:confused:

    Generally it's stated in each company's T&C - but often it's around 14 days when you can cancel the service and only pay for the days you've used up until then.

    But it does vary so look at your individual ISP's conditions.

    Virgin offers 30 days...If within the 30 days you dont like it you can get your money back

    Don't trust Pipex, their service is terrible. Last week their servers went down for 3 of the 7 days in the week. Server went down one day, was back up the next, then down the next day. Their customer service offers no help whatsoever either. My suggestion would be someone like Talk Talk, Virgin or Orange, but Pipex would be a bad choice, I'm trying to switch away from them as I type this.
