8800 GTX ==> Mid tower case?

    Was wondering if an 8800 GTX would be able to fit into a mid tower case and if it would have any effect on the temperatures. Also, if anyone could recommend a good case.

    Depends on the case. You'll need at least 10" of clearance from the expansion slot opening on the case to the nearest obstruction.

    Now, I'm assuming you mean a mid-tower, not microATX case, because if it's a mATX case, the odds are very slim that an 8800 series card will fit.

    i'd worry about mobo compatibility, i have a a8n sli deluxe, i had to cut a fan covering off my north/south bridge fan.... lol i thought it woulddn't fit. but i got it. i have a gts version which is shorter, but i have around 2-3 inches of space still.

    I doubt i could do sli the card is so big on my mobo
