yeah, it'll run CSS fine however CSSs website does recommend a 2.4Ghz CPU, and personally i'd get a DVD burner that uses the IDE interface, as CD / DVD drives are much slower than HDDs so there is no point using the SATA interface, it would make more sense to leave a SATA port free for troubleshooting & a possibly an additional HDD, apart from that the system seems fine for CSS Edit: although CSS recommends a 2.4Ghz CPU but the minimum is 1.2Ghz
Edit : I really have no ****ing clue as to what I'm doing, unlike you colledge folk... Could post a compleet built that will run Oblivion and Css on high with no lag? For under 500$
lol u might want to edit ur last post dude swearing gets u banned the system looks good my only suggestion is if u will be running vist go for 2 gb of ram and maybe check out the 8800GTS by nVIDIA their good cards at a good price
there probably isn't a system to recommend, cos every single part in a system usually has both good and bad points, the only way you can get the best of the best is to build the system from parts, for example, most system builders only supply a PSU that will only power the system they have built for you, so, upgrades also require you to upgrade the PSU, this apply's to most parts, however, you will need an ATX compatible system, as most of the big manufacturers actually make or have their parts made to only be compatible with their systems, so, if you want to upgrade opr repair a system you have to buy the part from them at a usually greater price than you could buy generic parts
