    error 17: file not found
    booting 'windows nt/2000/xp'

    fallback 2
    find --set-root /ntldr

is it a real vista cd or just a recovery cd that came with the laptop?

Is this disk a full install disk or an upgrade disk? (2 xp on 2 different drives )
If this is the case, Then it is not a fresh install..
