Hello, I recently upgraded my processor, I had a AMD Athlon 64 3800 I bought a new processor FX-62 Dual Core. My motherboard is a MSI K9N Platinum and according to MSI the site and my manual it supports this processor, heck even Tiger sells them in a bundle. The problem is that if I install this processor my computer doesn't boot up. It turns on but that is it, all the fans are on but the screen never initializes. it doesn't even post beep. I thought it might be memory so I tried a stick of 800MHZ OCZ DDR2 Ram and tried again with same result. I reset the Bios since this has worked in the past but that didn't, help. I installed my old processor and memory back and it boots up without complaint. Has anyone run into this? any suggestions?
