    Hello

Can anyone recommend a good all in one photo printer thats reasonably priced (around £50-£100) but prints good quality photos?

    Thank You

In the UK, try "Computer Shaopper" - they review printers regularly - I think they rec. an HP ( the cheaper model without the LCD ) about £60, as I recall, during 2007.
However, bear in mind "Best-Photos" may compromise the text quality. That 's there isn't one that's best - and the next problem is finding someone that can supply it.

I'm pretty sure you can find these models in the UK, but these all have really great quality and usage. I've used every model, and they are all in a different price ranges, from lowest to highest, descending order.

Run as fast as you can from all in one scanner, fax, printers. IMO they are junk. I use to do ressidental / business pc network repair. In seven years I saw maybe 1 or 2 broken printers and 1 scanner. I saw like 10 - 16 broken all in 1 from all manufacturers. Do yourself a favor and get a good printer ( one that prints on cd's is a plus) and a good scanner... more than likely you have a fax modem in your pc already. In fact right now I work for a company and a remote user sent in there HP 7410 that they bought in March of this year b/c it gets a scanning error. Hp is taking it back and sending a new one. Also the drivers can give fits , where they are difficult to reinstall in certain situations. I have at home and EPSON R300 that I can print on ink jet cd's ..something that i beleive no all-in one can do.. and I have an epsom scanner stylus 44xx something. This is just my observation...you may see it differently..so no hate mail

um, that guy just has really bad luck i think, i've used all of the products i mentioned and didn't really have any adverse problems, minus the C4280, as we did have to return that one once.

Ummm If you are talking about me. I stated that::
    1. I was a service tech
    2. I stated the ratio of stand alone broken scanners and printers to 3 in 1s
    3. I also clearly stated these were at business or residences I went to
    4. It is NOT the bad luck I am heving with a 3 in 1 b/c IMO, I think they are junk and therefore will never buy one.

thats fine, but almost all printers now a days are the all-in-one types, and really, they do a decent job of what they are suppose to do. Now as far as a business type thing, where you use the crap out of it on a daily bases i'n not sure how well they would hold up. (granted thats what we did, and didn't have any problems, but yeah) For general everyday use is where they live.
