i have a dell demension 3000 system and im looking to upgrade the RAM in it so that it will run faster, i dont know much about computers so i need help, will Rendition By Crucial 1024MB PC3200 DDR 400MHz be compatiable with my system? thanks
Hi, From this link I found, it looks like you should be able to use the RAM. The site said you can have a maximum of 1gb per slot and that the computer supports both PC 3200 and PC 2700 and there are 2 slots. Computer memory upgrades for Dell Dimension 3000 Desktop/PC from Crucial.com
The safest place to check is with the documentation that comes with your machine. As long as you've got it all it should direct you to the RAM your system supports.
