windows error reports

    Hi
    every now and then when i access files on my second harddrive windows gives me a error message "windows explorer encountered a problem and needs to close"
    this is the full report content.
    I am not able to figure whats wrong. can somebody help?

    any specific filetype? can you recreate the error or is it completely random? I had a similar problem once, when windows explorer crashed because it wasn't able to create the preview image of .avi files. I had to uninstall the Classic Windows Media player which came bundled with some codecs pack.

    well that drive has many audio video files. i.e avi,mpg,asf,rmvb,mp3,mp2 etcc

    yeah i sometimes get that error message too, i just put it down to MS being shit and just reload explorer.

    try this...copy the file from another drive and paste on the drive which one work...if dat doesnt works...thn do a drive check..
    go to my computer > Right Click on the drive > under tools tab check for errors n c if that works.. Goodluck
