ok, so i got a motherboard and all the pieces to my computer, but not a power button. i have 4 old computers from which i'm pulling parts from, so i'v tried every single power button that i have but none of them are compatible with it. they all have completely different connectors and not a single one of them fits. is there a way to splice wires or something so that i can put one of my power buttons on it?

    this is my motherboard

I wouldnt go through the trouble. Im not very skilled when it comes to wiring but i don't think it would work any how. Why? because the JPANEL have negetive and positive signals and splicing wires will confuse the process.

If i were you, i would buy a new MicroATX case. It should have the correct wires to connect to the motherboard's JPANEL.

well, i don't want to spend any money on a whole case when i need is a stupid button. i already have the power supply and a case that i can use, i just need to get a button. the main reason why i don't want to get something like this is that i've already pretty much maxed out my spending money.

edit: if anybody knows where i can connect the two wires for the power button. i don't need the little lights that say if it's on or not, i just need a button, that's it. that's all i need, i have the button but i just don't know where to put the wires. i've done this sort of stuff a lot and i know how to splice wires, i just don't know where to do it.
