My interpretation of the computer and the human body: The Body: ---------------------------The Computer: HUMAN BODY: TORSO - Connects all together BRAIN - To process information; storage HEART - Stability; to run power EYES - Input; to observe and comprehend EARS - Input; to listen and comprehend ARTERIES - Transfer blood; for power COMPUTER AND ITS PERIPHERALS MOTHERBOARD - Connects all together CPU - Process information HARD DRIVE - Storage RAM - Memory; temporary storage PSU - Stability; to run power KEYBOARD + MOUSE - Input CABLES - Transfer signals; for power Our memories, which are stored in our brain/hard drive, are just like software. We act according to our memories and thoughts, as does a computer with its opertating system and its software. Who's to say what our operating system is? I think it depends on the persons beliefs. What are our dreams, then? We could say that our dreams are temporary information stored in our memory, as is information in the RAM. When a computer is restarted, temporary information is lost. When a human wakes up... we forget our dreams. To argue though... If the computer were to be "living" in a sense in which it can see, feel, hear... we would switch some of our concepts around and say the screen is like eyes, the mouse like hands, the speakers like ears...
If we would have enouph time - I belive, that our perfect machine would be a one more human or something like that, lol... plus, our body is flexible, computers not - that's the problem right now... new human without pregnancy, lmao...
