Problem loading cod4

    Hi peeps,I can load n play cod4 on my laptop no problem,however today I loaded it onto my desktop pc and when I tried to play it I got the following error,video card does'nt support alpa blend,its a dell pc but it does'nt have a proper pci e slot only pci e x1 slot,also it does'nt have a agp slot,so I put in a pci geforce fx5200 card,this runs cod2 ok(ish),so does anyone know of a pci card that will run cod4 or am I gonna have 2 bite the bullet n upgrade mobo etc,tia,Bri :(

    I don't know how easy it is to find, but the fastest PCI card is the Visiontek Radeon X1300 PCI version.

    However, in the long run, you're going to be better off jumping to a platform with a PCIe x16 slot.

    Probably is. I only knew of the X1300Pro, but the X1550 should be at the very least the same. Also, you might check out this HIS X1550 as that has the low profile bracket the Visiontek does not.

    Thanks for all your help peeps,I've bit the bullet and got myself a new pc because I did'nt wanna start throwing good money after bad money at my old one,PB:)
