Hi i am playing Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars but it is running a bit slow and i think it is because of my graphics card. I am using:
ATI Radeon Xpress 1100 Xpress Series
    75Hz
    32 bit

My processor is 3.46GHz Intel Celeron D,
    1x 1Gb DDR2 533
    1x 512Mb DDR2 533

Can anybody recommend a good graphics cards that will work well with my system for about £100 or less.

That is a PCI-Ex card, and you said you have only got PCI slots. Pretty much what you need to do is upgrade your motherboard to one that will accept your proc and also has a pci-ex slot.

I dont really know alot about motherboards/graphics cards, ect but i believe you get what you pay for. Will a cheap motherboard/graphics card be capable to deal with the requirements of todays games?

Any Motherboard with a LGA775 will work with your Processor and and any pci-e cards should work with a pci-e motherboard. the only thing you have to watch for is make sure it takes the same ram. or its cheap and you can buy new stuff.

I think you might be right, i haven't really seen an improvement with this card :( i might be able to take it back and get a better one.
