again, depends on the model. I also thought the Ti cards were for specialists - ie photo editing or movie editing etc, but I guess it doesn't make a difference.
Well, the GeForce 3 Ti (200 or 500) wasn't as good as the GF4 Ti4x00 series. The FX lineup wasn't necessarily bad, but their achilles heel was poor Direct X 9 implementation. The 5200, 5600 and 5800 chips had some major issues that were fixed, more or less with the 5700 and 5900. nVidia slipped with the FX series, but up until then they pretty much 0wned everyone else since the fall of 3dfx.
Oh, yeah, the Ti cards are the desktop cards. You might be thinking of the Quadro line for workstations, Nox.
