    my speakers arnt working ive downloaded the drivers for them but they still don't work i've just swapped from xp home edition to professional but i doubt that would change anything any suggestions?

    did you try downloading the soundcard drivers? and did you switch from a 32bit version of windows to a 64 bit?

    what kind of soundcard do you have? go to the soundcard maker's website they should have those drivers. if you're talking about the versions of windows, do you know if you have a dual core processor? if you do, check the box that your copy of windows came in and see if it says 64bit anywhere on it

    ok. are your speakers usb? and do you know the kind of soundcard you have, or is it onboard
