PC Hardware Rivals To Team Up To Promote PC Gaming? - News and Siteseeing Intel, NVIDIA, Microsoft, AMD, ect, are all teaming up to to promote PC gaming. Yeah, i'm all for it, i love gaming and modding on the PC, but the issue here, which 'm sure everyone is aware of, constant upgrades with everything, constantly.
I like PC gaming, but when you buy a console game, you don't worry if you'll have to turn down settings to make it playable. It just plays. That said, FPS games are uber-better on PC. The mouse and keyboard will remain the tools of choice for the pros like me...
Yeah playing FPS games one consoles just doesn't seem right and its way too harder for me to play. Mouse + keyboard is the only way to play an FPS game. But you know there are so many extra gadgets you have to buy for the console so you end up spending loads on console just like us spending money on upgrading our rigs to play the next gen games.
See I'm an avid fan of my PS3 - just because I've never had a high-end rig and therefore have never played PC games on high-settings. I like the fact I can buy a game on a console and it'll "just work" - that said - FPS games are nicer with a keyboard and mouse, however you do get used to a control pad after a while, it might not be as quick / useful as a keyboard and mouse but after a bit of practice, it doesn't feel odd.
