i just got done building my computer and started it up... some of the lettering in the bios and post screen are symbols and other random letters like "setup", will be "s^>up" everything is like that its all very sketchy. im very bummed..... its awardbios... is it my video card thats messed up...do i need to update the bios. what is it...mobo drivers, video card drivers...hmm im running asus a7n8x-x pny geforce ti4400
Something is fairly odd here. Clear CMOS with the jumper and then try booting the system again, as something could be set incorrectly for some reason. If it still comes up with the jumbled lettering, I'd just as soon take it back and exchange it for a new motherboard (anther A7N8X-X is fine, you may have gotten a bum board---which happens).
after spending alot of time sending back defective computer parts i finally could start my computer... I reset the CMOS and it worked perfectly, no jumbling of the lettering at all...I rebooted my computer and there it was.... the sybols and wierd lettering...it wouldnt boot my os or anything. Reset the CMOS again, it worked perfectly......then it went back...reset the CMOS again.. and nothing, its just clutterd now. I flashed the bios and did everything i possibly could.... whats up with this??
