in konqueror 3.5.8 (gutsy) how do you clear / blank the address / location bar of all websites (FQDN) i've visited ? i know in XP the address bar remember (i think) the last 10 typed URLs & Windoze did store them in the registry because i remember deleteing an URL from my mums system that she didn't want there (some porn site i'd visited) and while i'm on, how do you set the number of URL konqueror keeps in the address bar ?
Click Settings > Configure Konqueror, scroll down and click History Sidebar All the setting you want should be in there
 thankies BTW: konqueror is much better than i originally thought, i kinda thought it wasn't very good because it came bundled with Kubuntu[ot]but thats the Windows user inside me talking[/ot]thankies
By reading this thread i just found out what konqueror is all about lol. Is it just a web broswer or does it do anything else thats fancy???? and why are you watching porn on your mums comp in the first place, naughty boy :chk: lol
konqueror is excellent, here are just a few thing it can do web browser file browser universal file viewer CD ripping you can access many protocols including: ftp http https imap imaps invitation jstream idap idaps mac ms-its nfs nntp nntps nxfish pop3 pop3s print printdb sftp webdav webdavs and those are just the internet protocols accessable with konqueror, konquerors home page is here BTW: i'm fairly new to konqueror myself & i've only used about 5 of the above listed protacols i was bored one day while fixing it, & while i was waiting for my mum i thought :swear: it, & visited a porn site well, everybodies got to be something[ot]donkey tries to slap the back of his own legs, but, everything doesn't go to plan, the real result is: donkey finishes up in a heap on the floor[/ot]Edit: all i know about it is: if the protocol name has an s in it, it usually stands for Secure BTW: i really need to start working with different internet protocols
