Hi, Got a new mobo, p4i45pe+ since my last one died suddenly. Now when I try to boot my system, I get to a sata configuration page <ctrl><s> and system just keeps restarting after saying Primary master<sata device not found> secondary "" no raid install!! and then it just restarts. I am using a deskstar hd and have no sata devices. I tried to disable the sata but there is no option in the bios. I am out of ideas so if someone could help I would greatly appreciate it.
Welcome to hardwareforums Karloss :beer: Link to Manual (this is for anyone else reading this thread, but if you have not read then manual then do so now) What IDE devices do you have attached to your motherboard and are they all listed in the BIOS? (and is your Hard drive on the primary IDE channel and set to master). You should be able to removed SATA from the boot device priority list, or at the least set it to the lowest priority (last on the list).
