Also I have 6gb ddr2 installed but vista is only showing 3gb. Can someone please shed some light on this , It is really worrying me. Thanks guys
Welcome to HWF Most motherboards these days automatically adjust the voltage and FSB to optimal levels. This won't cause any problems. As long as the temprature is below 70 degrees Celcius. You can use a program like Everest or CoreTemp to monitor the temperatures. But there's no need to worry, as this is normal behaviour The 32-bit version of XP and Vista only support 3-4 GB of RAM. You need to use the 64-bit version to use all the RAM in your system. The licenses (home basic, home premium, business and ultimate) are valid for both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions. So for example, if you got the 32-bit version of Home Premium, you can use and activate this product key on the 64-bit version of Home Premium.
Thank you very much for your reply, I will not worry about it, the cpu and mobo are running quite cool. Thanks again !!!:chk:
