    hi all,

Got one of those NAS net-box enclosures from ebuyer and have put a 750gb sata in it,

Connected it up to my pc this morning etc checked my network and there it was Name NAS, so I used my wireless laptop and manged to access the hard drive wirelessly, Even managed look at config etc via my browser.

Was in the middle of transferring a file when it stopped. All I can see now is that the Belkin Wireless N router sees it as per below:

    LAN > DHCP Client List
This page shows you the IP address, Host Name and MAC address of each computer that is connected to your network. If the computer does not have a host name specified, then the Host Name field will be blank. Pressing "Refresh" will update the list.
IP Address Host Name MAC Address
    192.168.2.2 NASDEL 08:00:50:F0:AE:6B

Anything I have missed in the network settings etc??

Go through the setup processes again or try resetting the settings on the NAS if possible. (should tell you in the manual)

Considering it was working but then suddenly stopped, maybe the device was damaged during transit! have you read the reviews on ebuyer, maybe someone had the same problem as you?

    Which NAS box is it?

Am I better using this SAMBA setup??
