    Hi..

I have a abit nf7-s 2.0 and the northbridge fan is dying on me.

Since it has a little heatsink and the fan is TINY... would it be ok to just take it off?

I know it's there for a reason but I have't overclocked this mobo one bit.

    What do you guy think?

You might be able to get away with it. If not, there are small northbridge/VGA coolers that you can replace the heatsink with and would run in the range of $10-20 online, typically with shipping included in that estimate.

I'd suggest contacting Abit as well, but given the way the company is, I'm not sure if the warranty is still being honored.
