i recently decided to upgrade to vista from xp everything was goingv well for a day untill vista told me to upgrade my bios frm abit it all downloaded okay then asked for a resart now when i go to boot my pc i just keep getting an error message after bios error loading os any ideas on this and how i can get my pc to boot up :doh:
Can you clarify what you installed? Did you download the firmware from Abit and use their tools to flash it? You might find that flashing your BIOS has reset the settings to factory default. You might want to check that the correct hard drive is set to boot from. If the above is correct, you might want to try pressing F8 just before Vista bottoms out and choose "last known good configuration".
it wont even get to the vista stage it loads up the bios and then the error message apears i have checked the boot up order just cant get it to go no further than after the bios settings says they are all okay but the i get the error message saing error loading os which is the operating sequence
